This is a very pretty home with a subtle use of interior wall color!

We shot this home during the installation process to teach some techniques for getting beautiful results. See Juan and Ivan use pie cuts and self returns on this job to create the high quality look that makes Moulding Masters successful.

There is a very peaceful use of neutral colors, a soft beige wall color which has enough hue to provide the necessary contrast with the moulding. Wall color and moulding color must be appropriate in contrast or the look just doesn't come off as well. Using neutral wall colors allows the owner to accent with bright colors as desired.

Color is very personal and there is no right or wrong - it's about getting what YOU want in your home, and avoiding expensive mistakes in choosing paint color.

Above left, rounded edges require the 25 degree angle pie cut. Above right is another rounded edge with the wedge inserted, but not caulked or painted. When finished the moulding has a satin smooth surface and the caulking is repainted to match the wall color. This meticulous attention to detail is part of MOULDING MASTERS success.
